Victoria Day Weekend at Canada’s Wonderland!

We’ve all been patiently waiting for the weather to warm up in many parts of Canada (especially Ontario). It’s been such a peculiar spring so far. But, guess what — rain or shine, sun or snow, our long weekend season is finally here!

Time to catch some thrills and entertainment at the Victoria Day Fireworks at Canada’s Wonderland!!

Canada’s Wonderland is one of our family’s favourite theme parks and the best part is that it’s close to home. Every year the park seems to reinvent itself (with new rides, new attractions, new offers) which keeps visitors constantly wanting more. Have you seen their latest roller-coaster (the Yukon Striker!!!)

Kicking off the long weekend season in Canada is Victoria Day Weekend (May 17-19) and Canada’s Wonderland is ready to roll out the celebratory carpet: they’re hosting their spectacular firework display on Sunday at 10pm at the park. If you can’t make it this weekend, never fear! The park sets off fireworks every long weekend throughout the summer. If you haven’t seen them there yet, it’s definitely an event to plan for and it’s included with the price of admission.

And for a little park-insider scoop, this weekend is the deadline for the season pass sale. Right now, you can get a Season’s Pass for the lowest price of the year (so far). As soon as the calendar reads May 20th….done-zo!

Season Passes are currently only $74.99 online, which is an incredible price if you plan to visit the park more than one time this year. And, remember, it’s like two-for-one park passes because you get admission to Splash Works with your Season’s Pass too (as well as discounts on merchandise, early ride times and more).

Trust us, there’s peace of mind knowing that you can always come back to the park on another day if something comes up. You never know when you might experience toddler meltdowns, tired kids, sudden rain etc. It’s definitely worth looking into if you have’t done so already. We usually get Season’s Pass to most places we visit if we plan to come back twice in one year.
