There’s a huge trend towards simple, classy, classic kids clothing.  Yes, some people still love the vibrant patterns, animals and colours found on typical wee outfits.  But, more and more we’re starting to see more muted tons in adult styles.

We fell in-step with London, Ontario based Os & Oakes.  They’re definitely of the former category.  Simplistic, classic clothes in a modern fit.  Think skinny pants in grey, navy, black and white.  Their logo is a little black and white bird.  No words. No mess.  No fuss.

This adorable kids bag is a perfect example of what you find on their clothing website:

We got this vibrant orange top, with reinforced elbows (in navy) for our infant and the black and white version for our toddler.

The quality deserves an A+ and the cut is clearly well thought out.  It looks just as good as it feels and you can tell your kids are wearing something of quality.

Os & Oakes is great for families with multiple little ones because the quality is so superb that they easily last from little one to little one AND they’re gender neutral — boy or girl. any wee one would look adorable in these.

The pants are a narrow fit, which works well on our lean guys, but be aware of the fit if your young one has a big belly (might be too tight in the waist so go up a size and just cuff the legs).
