Pixar Pier at Disneyland
-
Together Forever Fireworks Show: The fireworks show will be projected on Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and three other viewing locations in the park (plus the Matterhorn). Enjoy scenes from timeless Pixar tales as well as recent hits including “Coco” and the upcoming “Incredibles 2.”
-
Insider tip: For a better view and to avoid the crowds, watch the fireworks near the It’s A Small World ride.
-
-
Pixar Play Parade: Borrowed from Disney California Adventure and coming to Disneyland for the first time, new Pixar characters will be joining the parade.
-
Insider tip: Reserve a dining package from the Plaza Inn to relax and watch from Main Street or stick around for the second parade where there’s more benches in the shade.
-
-
Paint the Night Parade: Returning for its second year, but this time at Disney California Adventure. The Incredibles are joining the party with a dazzling new float as they take on the new villain, the Underminer.
-
Insider tip: Start looking for places to watch the parade along the parade route about 2 to 2.5 hours before parade time (although they may stop you from lining up before 6 p.m.) Benches and curbs fill up first, and Hollywood Land will fill up before the Paradise Garden area.
-
Disney World: Toy Story Land (Launching June 30)
-
Slinky Dog Dash: Check out this new roller coaster adorned with faux holiday lights, oversized building blocks, and cowgirl Jessie herself.
-
Insider tip: Try to get a FastPass+ for Slinky Dog Dash since the newest rides will most likely have the longest lines.
-
-
Alien Swirling Saucers: Don’t miss the intergalactic take on the Mad Tea Party (spinning teacup ride).
-
Insider tip: Both Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash (Tier 1 FastPass+ reservations) will have longer wait times so opt for these Tier 2 FastPass+ reservations to make your schedule more flexible — Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Fantasmic!
-
-
Special Hours: Beginning July 1 to August 25, Toy Story Land will be extending its daily hours from 8 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
-
Insider tip: Arrive at least a half hour in advance of regular park opening and high tail it to Slinky Dog Dash as soon as you can. Another option to beat the crowds is toto wait until after 9 p.m. when many people will opt to see Fantasmic!
