With the countdown to Christmas already underway, The Hudson’s Bay (Eaton Centre location) officially opened a fabulous toy department.

The iconic Canadian store kicked off the new area with a fun play day for kids.  Tots interacted with life size, popular characters and tested out some of the hottest toy brands.

Their toy section is located on the lower level of the Queen St West and Yonge St. store and offers up some of the biggest toy brands.

If you have one of those kids who enjoys the You Tube videos full of educational, interactive toys, then this is the store for you.  We’ve tried to track down wooden toys (other than Melissa & Doug) at various stores across Canada to no avail.  But we found a ton in this new, exciting department.

So, as you begin your hunt for the perfect gifts this year, head to the Bay, check out the store windows (which are always a holiday crowd favorite) and peep inside to play with the toys.
