Toronto’s Liss Gallery is currently hosting a rare and exciting exhibit: 20 Years of the Art of Dr. Suess. Fans of the world renowned story-teller can visit the gallery to explore and/or acquire his work.
We’ve seen a similar exhibit in Chicago, IL and it was so fascinating and total trip down memory lane. I can vividly remember my school librarian reading our class the wild and wacky stories.
Perhaps the wackiest and most wonderful elements of the collection are Dr. Seuss’s three-dimensional sculptures with names like The Carbonic Walrus, The Two-Horned Drouberhannis, and the Goo-Goo-Eyed Tasmanian Wolghast, to name a few.
This exciting event “The Art of Dr. Seuss” will be on at premiere Canadian art gallery, Liss Gallery, from today until January 12th, 2019.
